Retail Associate – Overtime Cards

As a rapidly growing leader in the Hobby Shop Industry, we offer one of largest selections of sports cards and trading card games. Our mission is to provide customers with an exceptional card-buying and hobby community experience.

Position Overview:

As a Retail Associate at Overtime Cards, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier customer service, supporting store operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment. You will be the face of the store, helping to create a positive and engaging atmosphere for all customers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, friendly team dedicated to providing a unique hobby shop experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection.

• Manage and organize inventory, restock shelves, and conduct regular inventory checks.

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate processing.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store, including cleaning showcases, floors, and shelves.

• Assist in setting up product displays and promotions.

• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers.

• Occasionally assist with shipping, sorting, and other operational tasks.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

• Ability to work well within a team.

• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items as required.

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.

• Familiarity with sports cards and/or trading card games is preferred.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
